This verse from the Bible is one that I can't seem to get out of my head (not that I want to:) especially tonight.
"He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?" Micah 6:8
How just are we? How merciful are you? How humble am I? If we really think about it, more often than not we care about our own comfort and peace way too much. There are people dying daily, thousands of women are being molested and abused all around the world; what are we doing about it? When are we going to become a voice for the voiceless? A ray of sunshine for those in darkness? When will be endure discomfort for the comfort of others?
When?........ The time to stand for truth, justice, hope, compassion, love, and restoration is now.
